Kylee (she/her) currently works as a Peer Recovery Advocate for the Penobscot Nation Tribal Healing to Wellness Court. As being a graduate of the Healing to Wellness court program since 2022, Kylee has an inside grasp on how the program works this has kicked off her exploring how to help those affected by substance abuse disorder. Kylee’s role goes beyond helping others grow their recovery capital and reach their goals for life. It has become her passion to be a beacon of hope for others. Kylee is a proud Indigenous woman and lives a life of recovery and wellness in her community on Indian Island. She hosts weekly Wellbriety meetings on Indian Island and at the Maine State Prison. At home is her teenage child Addy who can be found skateboarding with friends and spending time with their two-rescue cat’s. Kylee is a strong support in the recovery circle and can be found weekly volunteering her time at the Bangor Area Recovery Network and in her community. As Kylee follows the path her creator has guided her on, she strengthens her own connection with self the universe and keeps the eagerness to help others.
